The Flathead County Republican Central Committee has officially recommended Dan Wilson and Cory Swanson for Montana Supreme Court! We strongly recommend Montanans vote for the “most conservative, originalist” judicial candidates in this critical election November 5th.

The Flathead County Republican Central Committee has officially endorsed the truly conservative candidates in the key primary races!

The FCRCC Candidate Vetting Committee carefully analyzed candidates’ campaign promises, public comments, endorsements, voting records, and more, gaining a clear understanding of each Republican primary candidate’s core political philosophy.

The Central Committee, as a whole, then offered a full and complete endorsement of these upstanding candidates who stand with the Republican platform and uphold true conservative values:

MT House District 8: Lukas Schubert
MT House District 9: Steven Kelly
MT House District 11: Ed Byrne
MT Senate District 5: Matt Regier

Two seats are opening up on the Montana Supreme Court this year, and voters who support conservative, originalist values have a key opportunity to help change the makeup of one of the most extremely liberal state supreme courts in the entire nation. The MT Supreme Court has consistently overturned common-sense legislation enacted by Republican legislators elected by the people of Montana.

“Until Montana voters who care about conservative values pay more attention in state supreme court elections, we will continue to see judicial tyranny,” said James Compton, a local Flathead County Republican Precinct Leader. In recent years, justices on the court have brazenly “legislated from the bench” and worked to tip the scales away from any semblance of a balance of power between the branches of our state government. “This is one of the most important sections on the ballot this year” says Compton, “Preserving liberty through law depends on it!”

The most conservative, originalist candidates running for the open MT Supreme Court seats are Cory Swanson and Dan Wilson. ” Cory Swanson and Dan Wilson were officially recommended by the Flathead County Republican Central Committee on August 8th.
