VOTE NO on CI-132
- Designed by career Democrats: CI-132 was submitted by Monica Paoli & Megan Simpson. Paoli was the Montana Finance Director for Montanans for Tester. Simpson is a longtime campaign operative for the Democrats, including the Montana Democrat Party and former MT Democrat Governor Steve Bullock’s national PAC activities.
- Designed to protect extreme liberal judges & hinder conservative judicial candidates: If passed, CI-132 would create a new section in the Montana Constitution to mandate that judicial elections be nonpartisan, and would prohibit judicial candidates from using labels to indicate their political party affiliation.
- Designed to obstruct Republican legislation: CI-132 is an attempt to provide cover for liberal activist judges by obfuscating their party affiliation which will ensure “Democrat” judges continue to win elections so they can overrule conservative legislation passed by elected Republican legislators.
Summary: Powerful activist “Democrat” judges are working to overthrow common-sense conservative legislation in Montana at every turn. While these initiatives are written to appear to prevent partisanship in judicial elections, this is a façade. These initiatives were written by career Democrats, and they are in fact designed to hide the clear partisan bias of judicial candidates who are loyal to the extreme liberal Democrat agenda from being exposed during the election process. Stop judicial overreach! VOTE NO on CI-132!
