Two seats are opening up on the MT Supreme Court this year, and voters who support conservative values have a key opportunity to help change the makeup of one of the most extremely liberal state supreme courts in the nation. The MT Supreme Court has consistently overturned common-sense legislation enacted by Republican legislators elected by the people of Montana. “Until Montana voters who care about conservative values pay more attention in state supreme court elections, we will continue to see judicial tyranny,” said James Compton, a local Flathead County Republican Precinct Leader. “The justices continue to brazenly legislate from the bench and tip the scales away from any semblance of a balance of power between the branches of our state government.” The most conservative, originalist candidates running for the open MT Supreme Court seats are Cory Swanson and Dan Wilson. “This is one of the most important sections on the ballot this year” says Compton, “Preserving liberty through law depends on it!”
