Happy New Year!
As we enter 2024, we bring with us hopes, dreams, and resolutions for the new year – spending more time with family and friends, eating healthier, taking more “me time”, and of course exercising more! How we take care of ourselves is critical to our health and well-being, and our personal futures.
The future of the United States of America also requires attention to ITS health and well-being. It requires every citizen to play an active role in building a healthy country. It is easy to get lost in our daily lives, to assume someone else is doing the hard work, hoping that we will reap the benefits in the long run, regardless of the effort WE have put forth. Just like sitting on our couch watching exercise videos is not going to make us healthier, waiting for others to do the work that we should be doing is not going to improve our country and our community.
Every election year someone says ‘this is the most important election in our history.’ Well, folks, guess what? 2024 IS the most important election year in our history! Our country is in dire straits. We have a president who barely knows what day it is, but who is surrounded by people who are leading us into a potential war with the Middle East, a war that will be like no other. We have liberal democrats at all levels of government, to include our criminal justice system, who have forgotten our Constitution and the rights afforded to us by our founding fathers and are intent on destroying all opposition to their dangerous, woke, DEI agenda. They have redefined our genders, our culture, our values, and use words like racist, homophobe and misogynist to describe anyone who stands up to their distorted view of what America should look like. They have even gone so far as to remove candidates from ballots, denying voters in their jurisdiction a most sacred right of choosing who will represent them in government. Shall I go on….?
It is time that Republicans woke up! While we bicker with one another often times over the minutiae, the democrats are circling the wagons, planning more ways, honest or not, to defeat us in all future elections. How are they doing that? Let’s start with their plans to grant citizenship to the 6 million plus illegal immigrants who have crossed our borders since Joe Biden took office. It’s all about the VOTE.
So I ask you, how many Republicans do you know who sit home every election day, complacent, yet complaining, about how bad our country has become? If WE don’t vote, WE can’t win! We need to change that mentality, and it begins with you, the members of Flathead County Republican Women. This year, my number one priority is to get great Republicans elected to office, and we will do that by increasing registered Republican voters in Flathead County. I challenge each of you to sign up as many non-registered Republicans as you can find! We MUST take back our country from the woke mob, and the only way we can do that is by our VOTE!
Remember, the health of our country depends on how much effort EVERY citizen puts into its well-being. This effort begins with YOU!
