There is no better time for each one to look all around us and remember the events that happened in our county, our State, and our Country in 2023.
The water levels in the Flathead lake were poorly managed resulting in destruction of family fun, vacation travel and the small businesses that require Flathead lake to be at full pool. At the State level, our state bureaucrats sued our brave county commissioners who tried to prevent our property taxes from bankrupting us. The result is all Flathead County property owners and people who pay rent will pay more for the privilege to live here.
In Washington DC the majority of the Democrats and Republicans vote to spend more money than they have on everything, but protecting, We the People, from the millions of people invading our borders, overwhelming our housing, our hospitals, and our welfare system. Did you know that Yellowstone County has over 500 children in their public schools system that cannot speak English? In Kalispell, that number is less than 100, but growing. With this massive migration, we are seeing increases in crime, trafficking of children and women, and deaths to drug overdoses.
When I was a freshman state representative in 2015, the national drug overdose death toll was 35,000 per year. Last year, the drug overdose death toll was greater than 100,000 people. To me, all these issues are unacceptable! What are we to do?
My call to you is that it is time to roll up our sleeves and let’s get to work. The Flathead Republicans are creating our ground game for this year’s elections. We need you to get in this game. We need to protect our vote by creating an army of election judges, poll workers and observers that are trained by the county and have lightning fast access to election legal expertise to ensure fair and transparent elections. We need to treat this election like it is an election season instead of an election day. We cannot let voting machine issues sabotage our vote counts. We need to register all the new comers in our county and educate them on our candidates. These efforts cannot be done by a few of us. Every election going forward into the future is the most important election, if we wish to pass on freedom to the next generation.
Will you, like the signors of the Declaration of Independence, pledge your lives, your fortunes, and your sacred honor to protect and defend our Republic and our U.S. Constitution. If your answer is yes, then, in Todd Beamer’s famous last words on Flight 93 on September 11, 2001, “Let’s Roll.”
